Through either my Dad or Aunt Nadine I was told that Grandpa James died of a pulmonary embolism at the Rice Lake gravel pit May 24, 1928.19

Obituary |
James Henry Frasier was born at Corinth, Saratoga county, New York, Sept. 27, 1866. In youth his parents moved to Waupaca and then Superior. He resided in Rice Lake about forty years. Mr. Frasier was united in marriage to Gladys E. Eighmey, May 29, 1885. To this union were born three children, Roy H., and Neil D., residing in this city, and Corabelle (Mrs. Ted Scharlau) of Couderay. He is survived by his wife, three children, three sisters, Mrs. F.L. Tallman, Rice Lake; Mrs. Steve Wilcox, Weyerhauser; and Mrs. Marian Bainter, Lake Nebagamon, and one brother, Daniel B. of Rice Lake.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the home, with Rev. Birchall officiating, and interment at Nora cemetery. |
