Obituary Notes for Margaret A. "Morganie" Mallory
Mrs. Margaret Rice
Mrs. Margaret Rice, wife of Jacob Rice, died at her home in this city Monday, Oct. 18, at 7 a.m. of cancer of the stomach, at the age of 80 years and 5 days.
Mrs. Rice was born in New York and had resided in this city for the past thirty-three years. Before coming here she resided at Royalton, Waupaca county, where her first husband, Luther Frasier, a Civil war veteran, died, and where she subsequently became the wife of Jacob Rice, also a Civil war veteran.
She is survived by her husband, and three daughters and two sons of her first marriage, Mrs. S.G. Wilcox of Weyauwega, Mrs. Marion Bainter of Lake Nebagamon, Mrs. Frank Tallman, James and Dan Frasier of this city, also sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the home, Rev. Badger officiating, with interment at Nora cemetery. Mrs. Rice had made many friends during her long residence here who extend their sympathy to the bereaved.38

RICE LAKE, Wis. – Mrs. Jacob Rice died at her home in this city at the age of 80 years.

Mrs. Rice was born in New York and came to Wisconsin about 45 years ago. She lived for a time in Weyauwega and Thorpe and after that at Superior for eight years. She moved to Rice Lake 32 years ago and had made her home in this city ever since. She was married to Mr. Rice 41 years ago. This was her second marriage, her first husband's name being Frasier. She had two sons and three daughters, all of whom are still living and who were present at the funeral. They are James and Daniel B. Frasier of this city, Mrs. Henrietta Wilcox of Weyauwega, Mrs. Lucy Bainter of Lake Nebagamon, and Mrs. F. L. Tallman of this city. She is also survived by her husband, 16 grand children, and 17 great grand children.

Funeral services were held from the residence Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Nora cemetery, Rev. L.F. Badger of the Presbyterian church, officiating.4
