Power Company Employe Dies At Rice Lake

RICE LAKE -- Roy H. Frasier, 54, an employe of the Northern States Power company, died at a local hospital recently. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Masonic temple, with Rev. E.L. Cooper, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Nora Cemetery.
Mr. Frasier was born in Superior December 7, 1886, and came to Rice Lake with his parents. He married Miss Jessie France, Eagle Grove, Iowa, in 1909.
The deceased was employed with the Omaha railroad for 13 years. For several years he was employed with the Rice Lake Grocer company and had been with the Northern States Power company since 1928. He was a member of the Rice Lake Masonic lodge, No. 234, F. and A.M. for many years.
Surviving are his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Robert Houts, Rhea, Dorothy and Marian, all of Rice Lake; three sons, Richard and Russell Frasier, both of this city, and Harold Frasier, Camp Beauregard, Alexandria, La.; his mother, Mrs. Gladys Ellsworth, of this city; and one sister, Mrs. Fred Scharlau, Lemington.4

According to another obit, he died "of complications that followed an operation for appendicitis."4
