Funeral services for Robert Cook, 79, who died Friday evening at the home of his son, Leonard Cook, town of Red Cedar, were held Monday afternoon, 1:30 at the home of his son and two o'clock at the Iron Creek Lutheran church, the Rev. H. A. Pankow officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Robert Cook was born May 14, 1864 in the town of Red Cedar and there he lived all his life. He was married to Mary Cook, also of Red Cedar township. She died Sept. 8, 1929 and one son Bernie, also preceded him in death, at the age of three years.
Surviving him are two sons, Albert Cook, Menomonie, route 2, and Leonard on the home place; three daughters, Mrs. W. E. Hennesy, Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Robert Rossiter, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. William Scharlau, Menomonie. He also leaves 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
