Obituary
Iva Jackson Dies Friday at Hospital

Iva B. Jackson, 89, 1900 New York Ave., died Friday in a Duluth hospital. She was born Nov. 23, 1890 in Rice Lake, Wis., and had been a resident of Superior since 1900.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Queen City Chapter No. 20 OES, and the Superior Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Edward R. (Bob) Anderson, Superior; two daughters, Mrs. Leona (Helen) Buchanan, Grants Pass, Ore. and Mrs. Hazel Schlotzhauer, Cero, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Melvin Vilhauer officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Louis Thompson, Leroy Campbell, Eugene McDonald, Richard Leighty, Ed Rutledge and Jay Empie.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the Downs Funeral Home.
If friends so desire, memorials may be directed to Central United Methodist Church.4
