Elk Mound-- Clyde E. Ames, 88, formerly of Route 1, died Sunday, March 17, at Myrtle Werth Medical Center, Menomonie. He was born in the town of Dunn and lived in the town of Spring Brook since childhood. He married Emma Eighmy March 25, 1922, in Louisville. They farmed in the town of Spring Brook until retiring in in the late 1960's. He had been a resident of Heritage Nursing Home, Elmwood, since 1980.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Olson Funeral Home, Menomonie, with burial in Fall City Cemetery, town of Spring Brook. |
